The latest Toshiba Satellite up for review is the all new E55-A5114. This is a non touchscreen model that comes with some decent mid-range specifications and offers a nice step above the low priced budget models that dominate the market. We will take a bit closer look at this latest model from Toshiba below and see just how well it stacks up and if it might just be the next model you purchase.

We see plenty of low cost devices with low performning processors that can hardly keep up with the average users demands. Without raising the price out of reach for the average buyer the Intel Core i5 offers a great alternative. While still keeping prices low it provides enough power to run high level applications as well as multi-task with ease. To top it all off it also comes with the turbo boost feature which allows it to run at 2.6 Ghz when addtional performance is required.
The 6 GB of DDR3L memory is plenty to back up the Intel i5 and should keep all but the heaviest users running smoothly but as an addtional benefit the E55-A5114 can be expanded to 16 GB. This provides a great low cost option to upgrade the performance on this model in a big way.
