Millenium High School was started by a family of education-loving Ugandans who had had their education in rural Uganda and felt they could encourage the local communities to send their children to school for a better future. In 2000, in Hoima town in western Uganda, Millenium High School was started on rented premises. Currently it enjoys its own home- a spacious 18 acre piece of land.   Our Goals and objectives: Build quality education standards accessible by the low-income and most needy and vulnerable children especially the rural African girl child. Encourage the spirit of research, self-discovery learning and local publication to contribute towards human resource development of the nation. Attract and create strategic partnerships in reducing the fast advancing gap in education between the rural poor and the advantaged urbanite communities. Stimulate the untapped talent in co-curricula areas including games, sports and athletics as well as music, dance and drama.
