Colors
Vinyl Design Offers 4 Standard Colors: Bright White, Euro White, Almond, and Dark Brown, as well as hundreds of other colors available through our exterior color application process. If you want a color that won’t have to be repainted every few years you don’t have to choose white!
Have wood in your home? Vinyl Design offers a variety of wood grain laminates that can be put on the interior of our windows to give you the feel of real wood on your home without the risk of insects or rot destroying your window.
Operation Style
Vinyl Design goes beyond the basics in window styles. With a Vinyl Design window you can choose from the standard double hung window or picture window, to less common styles such as casement windows, awning windows, slider windows or even geometric shapes. Plus, since all of our windows come with their own frame you are not forced to keep the same operation style. Have a window you don’t want to ever open, replace it with a picture window. Love the modern feel of a casement window? Have them installed in place of a double hung window. We have made it possible.
Grids and Grid Patterns
Grids can really dress up a window. Vinyl Design uses grids that are in between or part of your glass meaning no more missing or broken grids on your new windows, it is not possible. Choose from a modern flat grid or a more colonial contour grid and then figure out the pattern. Looking to maintain the look of your home? Our colonial grid pattern is the most common grid pattern in America. Looking to add a twist? Many home owners are now accenting a bathroom or kitchen window with a Prairie style grid pattern or in some cities going with a diamond pattern to add a new flair to the overall appearance of the window.
Really want to dress up your window? Check out our V-Groove grids, where we actually etch the grids into the glass giving the glass a very ornate appearance similar to stained glass.
Energy Efficiency Options
Not every window is made to the same level of Energy Efficiency. In fact just this year (2015) Energy Star has implimented an Air Leakage limit on windows that receive their accreditation. That limit is .30 or lower. Most of our windows are under half that. After all who wants a leaky new window?
We also offer triple pane glass for homeowners who are looking for extra protection. Protection that is becoming the standard for our customers in Columbus, Ohio, and Dayton, Ohio. But also becoming of greater value for home owners further south as energy costs increase year over year.
For our friends in the south we have now offer new SolarBan 70 glass as a high performance Low-E that blocks significantly more solar heat from the sun. Many of our customers in the Releigh/Durham, NC, or Charlottes, NC find this option highly valuable.
